Visiting Seaside Pearl FAQs

Do I need a reservation to visit Seaside Pearl?
Reservations are strongly recommended for guided Chapel wine tastings during regular operating periods.

During the winter season, reservations are required for all Chapel guided tastings.

The Barrel Room remains available for walk-in guests during regular Barrel Room service, subject to seating availability. Guests may enjoy wine flights, wine by the glass, wine by the bottle, and available food offerings without booking a guided Chapel tasting.

Larger groups, wine tours, limousine groups, weddings, and private events require advance arrangements.

What are the Chapel Tasting Room hours?
Wednesday: 12:00 PM – 5:30 PM
Thursday: 12:00 PM – 5:30 PM
Friday: 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Saturday: 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Sunday: 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM

Seasonal winter service may operate differently. Winter Chapel tastings are available by reservation only.

What are the Barrel Room hours?
Saturday: open during regular winery service until 6:30 PM
Sunday: open during regular winery service until 6:00 PM

The Barrel Room may occasionally be closed for private events, Wine Club gatherings, winery functions, or other special occasions.

Seasonal winter Barrel Room hours may differ and will be posted when in effect.

Guided Wine Tasting FAQs

Where are guided wine tastings held?
Guided wine tastings are hosted inside our intimate Chapel Tasting Room. The Barrel Room and patios are designed for more casual wine service and are not regular guided tasting areas.
How long is a guided Chapel tasting?
Guided Chapel tastings are approximately 45–60 minutes.
How much is a guided Chapel tasting?
Guided Chapel tastings are $15 per person. The tasting fee is waived with the qualifying purchase of 2 bottles of wine per person.
How many guests can book a regular Chapel tasting?
Regular Chapel tasting reservations are available for groups of up to 6 guests.
Can larger groups book a tasting?
Yes. Groups of 9 to 24 guests may reserve our Large Group Wine Tasting experience in the Barrel Room. Advance arrangements are required.
What is the Large Group Wine Tasting?
Large-group tastings are hosted in the Barrel Room at our harvest tables. A $500 deposit is required to secure the reservation and is applied toward wine purchases. If the qualifying wine-purchase minimum is not met, the tasting fee is $25 per person.

Winter Service FAQs

Is the Chapel open for tastings during the winter?
Yes, however, winter Chapel tastings are available by reservation only.

During the quieter winter season, regular hospitality service may be centred in the Barrel Room. Guests wishing to have a guided tasting in the Chapel must reserve in advance.

Can I visit the Barrel Room without a reservation during the winter?
Yes.

During regular winter Barrel Room hours, walk-in guests are welcome, subject to seating availability.

Guests may enjoy wine flights, wine by the glass, wine by the bottle, charcuterie, cheeses, and available light bites.

What can I order in the Barrel Room?

Can I have a guided tasting in the Barrel Room?
Regular guided tastings are hosted in the Chapel Tasting Room. The Barrel Room is generally used for casual wine service, larger group tasting experiences, private events, and winery functions.
Can I have a guided tasting on the patio?
The patios are available for wine flights, wine by the glass, and wine by the bottle. Guided tastings are generally held inside the Chapel Tasting Room.
What happens if it rains?
Outdoor seating is weather-dependent. When possible, guests may be accommodated indoors based on availability and the type of reservation.

Food at the winery FAQs

Is food available at Seaside Pearl?
Yes. The Barrel Room and patios offer charcuterie, cheeses, and light bites. Food availability may vary.
Is food available inside the Chapel Tasting Room?
Food service inside the Chapel is limited. Please contact us in advance if you have questions regarding food service for your reservation.

Groups, Tours, and Limousines FAQs

Do larger groups need to book in advance?
Yes. Larger groups require advance arrangements, and groups arriving without the appropriate reservation cannot be guaranteed accommodation.
Do you accept wine tours and limousine groups?
Yes, by prior approval. Wine-tour and limousine groups must contact Seaside Pearl directly before visiting.
Can tour operators book through the regular online reservation system?
No. Wine-tour and limousine groups must be arranged directly with Seaside Pearl.
Is there a minimum spend for wine-tour groups?
Yes. A minimum spend of $50 per guest applies, or a qualifying purchase of at least 2 bottles of wine per guest.

Dogs and Families FAQs

Are dogs allowed at Seaside Pearl?
Dogs are welcome on designated outdoor patios. Dogs must be on a leash, well behaved, and supervised at all times.

Guests are responsible for bringing waste bags and cleaning up after their pets.

Dogs are not permitted inside the Tasting Room.

Can minors visit the winery?
Yes. Guests under legal drinking age may attend with a responsible adult. Alcohol service is strictly limited to guests of legal drinking age.

Private Events FAQs

Can I host a private event in the Barrel Room?
Yes. The Barrel Room is available for private events by advance reservation.
What is the Barrel Room private-event venue fee?
The current Barrel Room private-event venue fee is $2,400 + applicable taxes.
Is there a wine-purchase minimum for private events?
Yes. A minimum purchase of 3 cases / 36 bottles of Seaside Pearl wine is required.
How long is a private Barrel Room event?
The standard private-event period is 5 hours total, including setup and cleanup.
Are staff included?
Yes. Two Seaside Pearl attendants are included.
Can we bring outside alcohol?
No. Outside alcohol is not permitted. Wine and alcoholic beverages must be purchased through Seaside Pearl.
Can we bring our own caterer?
Yes. You are welcome to bring in a caterer of your choice.

Please coordinate all catering arrangements with Seaside Pearl in advance.

Can we have live music?
Solo performers, duos, and trios may be permitted with advance approval.

Please discuss entertainment plans with Seaside Pearl before booking performers.

Weddings FAQs

Does Seaside Pearl host weddings?
Yes. Seaside Pearl offers intimate wedding experiences using the Chapel, Barrel Room, vineyards, patios, and selected estate spaces depending on the wedding experience.
Are weddings available year-round?
Yes.

Weddings are available year-round, subject to availability, winery operations, and the requirements of the selected wedding experience.

How long is the Full Estate wedding experience?
For the combined Chapel and Barrel Room wedding experience, the standard event window is a maximum of 4 hours, including ceremony, transitions, wine service, reception, and guest departure, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Can we use our own caterer?
Yes. You are welcome to bring in a caterer of your choice.

Please coordinate all catering arrangements with Seaside Pearl in advance.

Can Seaside Pearl recommend wedding professionals?
Yes. Seaside Pearl can provide recommendations for experienced wedding and event professionals upon request.

Wine Club FAQs

How does the Seaside Pearl Wine Club work?
Members receive 6 bottles per Wine Club release, 4 releases per year, for a total of 24 bottles annually.
Is there a minimum Wine Club commitment?
Yes. Wine Club membership requires a minimum commitment of one year.
Do Wine Club members receive a wine discount?
Yes. Wine Club members receive 20% off Seaside Pearl wines purchased outside their scheduled Wine Club packages, subject to applicable membership terms.
Do Wine Club members receive a private-event benefit?
Yes. Active Wine Club members receive 20% off the regular Barrel Room private-event venue fee and eligible wine purchases, subject to the terms of their membership.

Specially priced, promotional, sale, or package-priced wines may not qualify for an additional Wine Club discount.
