Seaside Pearl captures two Double Gold Medals in Savor North West Wine Awards!
The results are in! And we are over the moon!
The Savor Northwest Wine Awards competition is a regional wine competition held annually in March.
Since 2011, SavorNW has showcased the best of Northwest wines and is one of the largest wine awards programs focused solely on promoting wines of the Pacific Northwest.
The 15th annual Savor Northwest competition featured nine professional wine judges from the Pacific Northwest and beyond who assessed several hundred wines from Oregon, Washington, Idaho and British Columbia.
It is single blind competition, where judges only know the varietal they are evaluating, in a blind tasting over three days.
Seaside Pearl was delighted to capture two Double Gold Medals for our small lot wines:
2020 Lover’s Lane Cabernet Sauvignon: 95 Points
2020 The Connaught Syrah: 95 Points
Double Gold Medals are awarded when all three judges on the three-person panels agree the wine should receive a score in the mid-90s. We are thrilled to receive two 95 Points.
We are also thrilled to announce that the following wines won Silver medals:
Lover’s Lane Cabernet Franc 2020: 88 Points
Royal Engineers 2020: 87 Points
Landing Road 2020: 87 Points
Charlotte Estate Petite Milo 2020: 86 Points
2020 Lover’s Lane Merlot: 85 Points
Interurban Estate Cabernet Foch: 85 Points
2024 Daffodils Sparkling 2024: 85 Points
Such prestigious awards for our farmgate winery!
